Yesterday night, there was a concert of french music, by a spanish band.
I went first to see how a spanish band could be sing french song like Brel, Moustaki, ... songs. We arrived at the area of concert with Montse, and we saw only people about 50 years old ... oupsssssss where are we ??? The band was good, good voice and music. And the signer was great, because his french was good.

But, I had a stange feeling, because he was singing popular french music, like "le port d'amsterdam" and nobody in the audithorium made handclap. It was very strange because in France these songs are very popular and everybody sing it, or dance it, and for one time spanish people are more quiet than french people !

During a break, montse proposed a challenge : transformation of Denise ... no Marianne. I mean, well she means: to make up to me, to color my hair, to put me close sexy (scoop neck...). So I have only one thing to say: is it "blablabla" or a real challenge ?

FRIDAY

The CAMPAIN of PRESIDENT election begins ! there are in all parts in the city paper with candidate: Zapatero (PSOE) and Rajoy (PP). There are other parties, but they are minotary like "izquierda unida". So, debates are involved. I will observed this campain with my foreigner eye. I never see it in Spain, and I could compare with french campain. For the moment, it's more quiet than in France, because spanish people will be vote in 2 weeks and there isn't a frenzy to know will win.

Moreover, I took the bus into madrid to go to make my demand of lodging help. And i saw any difference with other day. But, one person in the bus said: "uffff with this STRIKE ... it's dificult ect". And I thought: what kind of strike ? okkkkk, I understood that the public transport in Madrid was/is in strike. But, in reality, it doesn't change nothing ... because there are bus ect. So this is other way to manifest in Spain !

My adventures of my set of false teeth!

Thus, after rendez-vous taken go in the dentist specialized in extraction of teeth of the Spanish social security, I go this Monday in direction of the hospital. I take a bus 2h before the rdv thinking that should be good to be early. But it was without counting on the spirit of Benoit who still trailed by Madrid and his traffic. Finally, I arrive just at time. The assistant comes to call us. But I was not entitled to Denise, this time it was well written: Marianne G.

Before me, 2 mens pass, of which one which had very badly! But I was not reassured, because they left with an incredible head of pain. Therefore, with willies, I enter in the room. There were the dentist (woman), hes assistant (woman) and a aprentie assistant (50 years/woman). She asks the usual questions to me: allergies, operations… I learned how to say in Spanish vegetations. And they see that I am French, and they see my 2nd first name… Denise!“ohh it is pretty Denise… blah…”

To put in good ambiance I ask: “will it hurt?” … and I add “because I'm in a funk”, and the dentist puts herself has to laugh.Installed on the armchair, the opened mouth, the dentist says to me: “your tooth is very difficult to remove, I will test but I do not promise anything, you go can be to have to go to the hospital so that they finish tearing off it to you”I have to have a head of super fear at this time because she finishes by: “but I will make my possible”. Thus here with the half part of the mouth sleeping… ufff it is not easy then to speak ... impossible!once anaesthetized, go one tears off this tooth! 1… 2… 3, I close the eyes. The dentist asks to me whether I'n hurt. How do you want to answer with the anaesthetized mouth and the fingers of the dentist as well as the instruments.

I MIME that just a little and I succeeded in saying: “I close the eyes because I do not want to see”.Finally, a tooth entiere removed, a mouth full with blood, one return for the next week, and Monday without being able to speak.

I was thinking in bus and two questions came to my mind:
- why Humans need to have some relationship with friends, lovers, working partner ... ? why Humans need this type of social contact ? Why is soo important, and why can be destroyed or improve a live ?
- how to know when the good feeling between two persons is mutal ? or it's just imagination ?

I don't have responses to these questions ... sorry ! but if you have it, let's go: say me !

It's the "San Valentin" Day ! Yep, for people that they don't know because they live out of communication world and social world ... it's the day of lovers, or day of love !

But, this day could be live in different ways depending of you sentimental feeling for example. I mean that exist some ways to pass this day: for example if you are free/single or if you are in couple/with partner.

Of course if you have a partner you can pass this day or night with, in order to celebrate love, pasion, and sex (of course). It's easy in the way that you have couple, the challenge is to encounter the best dinner, the best site, the best romantic ambiance, well, the best habitat and tools to pass a good night with your lover. But I think if you make the detail to think at you lover with a little present or attention, sure ... : you win the way in direction of ... bed ... no! of passion. So, to pass the day in couple is very easy ... just need imagination !

But, if you are single, this day could be over ! You hear in all communication tools, in the street, in the pub ect. that it's the day of love. But, what can evoke this for you if you don't have love ? sniffffffff. Don't cry ! There are solutions:

- you can go to this special night in bar in order to make "speed date" or simply encounter people and perhaps interesting someone.

- you can organized a meet between your single friends.

- you can go to washing machine ... it's could be fun: because all single could made their washing machine this night (they don't have nothing more to make ..).

- you can pass the night in your house, cool and quiet, watching tv or dvd, without thinking about that is the love day and you are alone.... so sad and so bad !

nooooooooooooooooooooooo : wake up ! yep, today it's the day of love ! so you can celebrate it, even if you are single ! you can go to kiss everybody that you cross and say : Happy Valentin Day ! Well, the day of love must to be everyday and not only one day per year !

So, I have only one think for this day: OPEN MIND & GOOOOO !

Once upon a time in UTOPIA (II)

This wonderfull sunday, Marianne, Isabel, Gema & Encarna went to the supermarket: Carrefour of course. After to have bought food and drink for the party.

-"But we need something more for the celebration: some decorations, some streamer, some party box, some catcalls ... "

So go to the china shop ! yes, a good party is always relationned with china shop. After this, girls go to one shop more special: one shop with more color and brillant : yep, a sex shop.

Girls are looking accesories and fantasies products when they encounter ... Utopia village's boys ! Benoit at the head of the group: Oscar, Edu, Gus ... Boys are loking too pleasures accessories for the male's party !

-"Hi guys ! surprise ! Do you have choose something special ? ... oh yes, you're right, this is could be funny ... oh no this is very trash ! Do you remember it's for the bachelor party of a "florecita" ! ..." .

Finally, they come back back together, boys and girls, in the village to prepare this party with the full boot of exotic suprises. Everybody still their activity: Encarna go to her bank, Gema go to finish something at the school before to meet her husband and son. Isabel and Marianne go to the public garden to recover their children, and then they return to house with their partner.

The week pass normally in Utopia village: childen in class with their teacher, adults in work. This village named utopia but everydody work !!! It's not pleasure village.

The Friday afternoon, Montse finish early her work and go to her house. She thinks it's cool because it's the week end ect ... but she doesn't know what will be happen !

- "Toc, toc ... Hi Montse are you ? Open please, we would like to see to you some dress ..."

-"Hi Xaxi, it's your big day today ! please close your eyes and trust us !"

Of course it was not so easy to convice her, but finally they have ! In other way, Edu and boys make the same think with Carlos. He was working in his office when appear village boys !

Begins the bachelor party each one separed. It was a surprise because the bachelor party was planificated the next week .... but noooooo ... ohhh poorly !

Girls have dressed up the futur married of smurf girl ! sooo beautifulllllllll ! And begins the party with the music and drink ... nestea of course ! with a little wodka ! girls make some plays : typical plays of bahcelor party. Moreover, there is the gift time: girls offer to Montse some practical things of cooking (an fire-extinguisher) and some spicy dress and chocolate !

Now, this is the moment more waiting of the party: the striper show ! waouuu, every girl was crazy: dancing, jumping, criing ... ufff a personal show of striptease for Montse: incredible! of course then the striper make one for everyone ! Encarna receives one sms by Edu: the guy bachelor party is ok to go out, in the street in direction of the Froggies. Ok, let's go girls !

So, what's surprise watching boys with a smurf guy (Carlos) and girls with a smurf girl (Montse) meet in the street with an ambiance of happyness ! Of course, boys are coming with his striper girl and girls with her striper boy.

One time in the Froggies, the party still, everybody singing, dancing ... Nino makes an false church service of weeding, where the helper of nino man-god are the stripers !

And everydy can have a piece of strip show with girl or boy or both. In the village of utopia everything is possible.

It's 6h in the morning, and the party is go down. People are tired. But everybody had be fun. And Carlos and Montse will not forget this bachelor party ! So it's time to come back the futur married at home. Edu, Encarna, Gema, Oscar, Marianne, Blanca, Juan, Benoit ..., ect all that they are always wake up, come back them at home with a bawdy song : "lalalalal" ...

-"Good night lovers ..., you are lucky that we accept that you go to sleep together before weeding !"

The next day, the utopia village go very slow and calm. Everybody was with the head very tired ! There is an very cool party for children in the village organized by Gema, Aurélie and Claire (the educative corporate). It's the birtday of some children in the village. So, everybody is in the village garden. Marianne & partner and 3 children leave some crepes, pablo & cris and their 5 chilren (include the ultumate: pablo junior), gema & her husband and her boy, Benoit and his 2 guys ...

And, one cellular ring ! cellular of who ? what's happens ?

my week and week end !

hello everybody, let's go to my last week:
- monday: work, doctor and lessor's meeting ! yes, I still searching with my electricity bill was too hight !? and finally, I am in the spanish system enterely, I have the medic card !
- tuesday: work and work and work : yes, I'm analysing the lizards' secretions in lab before that fields exp begin. And I made too administration back line ! ufff in order to have money of the governement it's very difficult !
- wednesday: doctor meeting ! and it's was very funny. I explain: I was wainting my turn and the doctor go out and said the next person to enter. And she said: Fernando,Denise,Maria ... And if you don't contest at this call, it's like you are not here, so you pass your turn ! But, I was, and I was waiting Marianne ... and nothing, but few minutes after I think what's kind of spanish could be call "denise" ?? It' was for me ! of course it's my second name ! lol lol lol, and actually, the doctor called me denise and I didn't pick up ... so I have waiting a litte more ... juste to have a ticket in order to go to the dentist ! in the afternoon: sentimental day of Monste !
- thurday: nothing very interesting only, when I come back to home and I see one paper in the enter of my edifice: "the last tuesday person intended to enter in one flat to steal, with somebody indoor ..." waouuu ... freaking out !
- friday: surprise meeting with some people of the museum. I was going out when Pilar said to me : do you want to go to take somethink ... juste little time !
- saturday: working in the lab !
- sunday: it was a clasical sunday: cooking, cleaning, and TV of course !

Je t'aime ...

one upon a time, in a very nice village ....

It's the story of some people living in a special village. This village is in the complete wild nature, with mountain, rivers ect... around. Of course not too far there is the capital with shops ect ...

Well, this village is named "UTOPIA", and here live some very particular persons. But who ? Imagine that your neighbours are your friends, so the community of this village can be characterictic by Juanto like the mayor of the village and Eli like the co-mayor. Pablo could be at the helm of the spirit service. Gema, Claire and Aurélie in the education and infantil service.

The story begins like this: there is one meeting in the bar/restaurent "froggies" of Marianne and Benoît . They are the gerents of this bar, but their principal job is researcher. They are a french maried and with children but not together.

Everybody is here. The topic of the meeting is : the marriage of Montse & Carlos. The boss organizer is Isa. The beer and Nestea are flowing and in a loud sourouding, the little Isabel is trying to speak but she can't, so Nino with his voice incredible makes shut off and listening everydbody. Isabel is the wife of the mayor: Juanto. Together they have one child and they are very happy. Juanto and Isabel are researchers too. Isabel manages in the village everything about social service.

Nino is the essential person in the village: if you have a doubt or you need something, Nino is here to try to help you. Moreover, Nino is the boss of the postal, phone and internet shop with the help of Gus who is the manager of the dvd shop. Thank to him we can have some particular dvd with total discretion.

"-ok, we are here to try to organize the furtur wedding, so we need to know what do we want, do we need ect... Edu can you make the bachelor party of Carlos and guys ? Encarna can you make it of Montse ? Then we need to think about joke. And who want to fill of the decoration of the village ? Pablo can you organized the religious ceremony ? Carlos, Eli's boy's friend can you prepare the party music ? Can you invite at Bebe ? The family of furtur married will made the food ect... traditionnal things. [...]"

After 2 hours of debates and discutions ... and beers, some ideas can be imagine. The time is flowing, there is only one mounth to prepare everthing. It's true that it was a long that we were waiting this moment, but it was too surprising !

So, the marriage preparation is beginning. But, it's time to go to bed ! Tomorrow is an other day with a lot of shopping !

The new day is waking up. Marianne, Isa let the children in the school. They talk a little with Aurélie and Claire: the teachers. Claire is teaching at very younger and Aurélie at more aged. Gema, the manager of education wasn't. So, Marianne and Isa go to the capital in order to make shopping for this wedding and especially for the bachelor party. Where they go ? With who they will be encounter ?

very hard to be an foreigner !

In Spain it's the compain of politic in order to the election of president in March. So, both parts talk about promises and ect ... But the surprise is that the topic of foreign. The right part politic proposes new law in order to control the foreigner. A law where people of ouside must to demostrate that they are integrated and this law talks about some obligations or norms that the foreigner must to carry out. But what kind of obligations ? to respect the laws of the country, ok, like every cityzen. Moreover, foreigner must to learn the culture and custumber of Spain ! like what kind of culture or custumber ? like the "corrida" like "artificial fire" in valencia ... I don't know. The problem, like always, is that the topic of emigrants is very complicated. Because is fine to want to integrate people and no let them in the street. But please not to much words about that the foreigner is the person that takes the job of an spanish people, or foreigners are people that use and overuse the medic system ! please ! because everybody know that the job of the one emigrant is a job that a spanich guy doesn't want ! and if a person works and contributes to the medical system, why they can't use it ?

But, Spain is not an exception, because in France or England or Germany, it's the same. The same debate and the same arguments !

So, everyone can be one day an foreigner so please think about it.

the war in the border between France and Spain come back. but why ? and first what kind of war ?
no, it's not about the 18th century war. i know that it will be the bicentenary of this war, but no ! it's the truck war ! yep, truck driver of spain are stopped in the border by french truck driver in order to inhibit pass and to destroy the marchandise.
it's not a new war, but it comes back ! why the frenchies make it ?
they protest because the price of vegetables and wines of spain are not agree with the french legislation - or because the spanish product is less expansive !
but this war have a lot of years, as long as that in Spain one of the bad french characteristics is to throw away the vegetables ! (ahh los franchutes : nos echais las frutas !). Here they don't understans and of course they don't agree with this french protestation.
i know that the concurence of other country is very dificult but i think that truck driver could go to other border in order to stop too other truck with origin like east of europe for example. or to go to the airport to stop too the arrival of marchandise of china !
this have no end !
well I have an idea to finish: why not use the vegetables and fight between with theses vegetables ! after the "tomotina" in valencia ... the "frutatita" in the pyrénées !

J'ai du retard ...

j'ai du retard ... dans mon historique, non, non, pas de panique !
ok, so let's go to my last week, my week end ect ...
so the last week was not very exciting, because I have a lot of work: analysis, statistics, write, ect ect ...
well, i have some suprise like thirday with my electricity bill ! yes incredible 4x the normal price ! Yes, when i sw this number I had to sit me ! I didn't sleep the night.
So since this very memorable day/moment, I'm search why !? I callled with the lessor to see the number in the box ... and it's correct ! shit ... so now I need to close all my flat, without electricity in order to know if the meter box is ok, or if is out, or if someone is "sucking" me the electricity ! when I have more information about my investigation I will tell us !
then, I'm fighting with the spanish and madrilen's administration ! ufff so complicated, of course to give money the community of madrid they make it dificult ! It was too easy to think that the administration could be more flexible in orden to help young people to have a flat's grant ! no, it's normal, with patience !
so, monday-friday: working ! and saturday: flat cleaning and working too !
and sunday: Gema and me tought that it was a good idea to go to walk in the mountain. I was, but the weather wasn't agree with our idea ! this was the only one day with an horrible weather: rain, fog, snow !!! coooooool, so we stayed in house "piapiapia dans ton corps" between girls and THE french traditionnal custumber : CREPESSSSS !
then, one more time : monday ! and this mouth I will take the bus. so this mounday I take the bus and I don't know if the spirit of benoit was here or not ? but the previous bus go down, so people for 2 bus must to enter in one bus ! can you imagine make 30km like this ! cool !
and my end of week is the same of the beginning of this new week: administration and work ! yep, very exiting !

Carnaval

Eh oui les carnavals ont commencé! Les maires de chaque ville ou a lieu la célébration du carnaval a laissé la clé de la ville a roi du carnaval, et alors peut commencer la semaine du carnaval !

Attention car c'est une semaine ou des defilés sont organisés, ou une reine du carnaval est élue, et bien sur ou la musique resonne toutes les nuits et jours. les plus connus sont bien sur celui de Rio, mais il en existe bien d'autre comme celui des iles canaris ou bien celui de cadiz, aix en provence.

Mais un peu de culture avant d'aller bouger votre corps au son de la samba !

Cine X in danger ?

The news about the preocupation of the cine's industry is not a surprise. We know that there is less personn in the room cine, less personn that buy dvd in shop BUT, more people in internet to download movies that they want in the language that they want, without pay. Because the price of cine is very high and of dvd too, more and more people download. Moreover, we can ask to us if the quality of cine still fine or good, but it's an other question that I would like to arrive.

So, the down in the cine touch writer, realisation, actor, ect ...

BUT HAVE YOU THINK WHAT COULD BE HAPPEN TOO IN THE X'S CINE ?

It's the same: internet is the source of the X's cine. with the not profesional movies or the ilegal download, the industry of X's cine is in crisis. YEP !
Now, people don't wait the new X's film, they want something quickly and easy. So they go to internet where there are a lot of film of amateur and other web pages od download. and in one hours they can have that they want.
So, to counter this crisis, the industry of X's cine thinks about make movies with more quality and ect. So, we could hope see new X's film with the same technology that Mission Impossible or Matrix or the same comedy dialogue that bridget Jones or the same country and landscape that Lord of Ring ! why not ?!

WE / Chapi comes back !

WE very cool and quiet:
- saturday: wake up early to go to madrid to take Montse and then direction to the airport to welcome to Isa (come froim to Mexico)! fortunatly we were in the airport, because of her bagages ... ufffff ! (one thing about airport: it could be the new zone to flirt !!!) and then go to the mountain ! it was a very nice weather: we have taken sun in the isa's garden ... after we go to see my sweet lizards in the field station's fridge , and then we go to lunch with Nino. After a lunch very very copious, we (Montse and me) decided to go to walk near to a reservoir lake. And as usual we took the the shortest way: but not more easy ! always the same ....

MOREOVER, we have seen the new kitchen in the field station ... uf what's kind of kitchen ! we have now a industrial kitchen in a rural field station ... why not ?! but it's a kitchen like cooker, with fire very big and enormous hood (in case of somebody burn some food !) .... it's better the last kitchen, juste we need some adaptation ... what do you think ?

- sunday: nothing ! a long time ago that I didn't made nothing a sunday !!!!!!!!

I want to fly ...

The other day, I was in the airplane and I saw in the company's magazine something about a calendar. I saw only hot girls in few pages. I though: great, for once time that there is something interesting to see in the avion's mag (other than marchandizing ect ...).
But, when I come back to Madrid, I realized that this calendar is making a polemic ! WHY ???



What do you think ? What mounth do you prefer ? Some people think that it's degrading and humiliating for women ect. But Sincerely, I don't see why it could be very bad for women. Women are free to make that they want. Moreover, this calendar is making in order to have money for an association. And if it's good for our vision ... why not ? So, now we are waiting calendar of other part of this aerian company ... go to the shooting photo! I am agree about that the myth of the stewardesses or "hotesses" could be highter !
But you know what ? The more comic it's when you take the plane and you can see one of these girls ... yes I have ! , I flied with the first girl (left) in the down photo.

The type of uniform could be like the prestigiuos french company: very classic, and a little borring.

Or in the other extremly, there is the very very cool uniform of Aireuropa: jeans, polo ...

There is too, the flashy uniform of Ryanair: blueeeeeeeeeee like the sky !!!! see up ! But there a lot of other company's dress !
So, what do you prefer ? I don't know what I can choose, because I would like a uniform of airline hostess sexy but in the same way no too much classic. The myth of the airline hostess must go oneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !

Retour de WE

eh oui me revoila ...

Apres une petite semaine de travail, je suis partie en WE ! et où vous allez me demander (ou pas). Eh bien à Gerona ou Girona (en catalan). Petit WE en famille disons entre les cousins, les petits cousins ect. Bon j'ai quand même fait les soldes, un peu seulement!

Mais où se trouve Gerona vous allez me dire (ou pas) ? cela se trouve donc au nord de Barcelona a 85km. c'est une ville qui se trouve a 1h de la frontiere 30min de la polage et la montagne. c'est une ville tres catalane et son image de presentation est le vieux centre avec les vieilles maisons qui se reflete sur la riveire qui traverse la ville. il y a environ 80 000 habitants. la ville reflete les differentes influences de l'histoire: "ibero", "romano", 'cristianismo", médiéval, "carolingia", ... De cela les monuments qui restent visible sont: "casco antiguo" qui contient le patrimoine artistique le plus important de la ville et entouré de la muraille, las casas del Onyar les maisons qui se refletent sur la riviere, "el call judio", la cathedrale des siecles XI-XVIII qui offrent 4 styles architecturaux: romain, gothique, renacentista y baroque, les bains arabes, la plaza de independencia, la rambla de la libertad ainsi que tous les ponts qui traversent l'Onyar. Voila le moment guide touristique est fini !

Ce fut donc un bon petit WE familiale: visite de l'appart du cousin, aprentissage des echecs avec l'autre cousin, papotage entre francaises ect ... de temps en temps ca fait du bien de se poser, d'être loin de Madrid. Et pendant ce WE, j'ai appris quelques nouveaux mots qu'inventent les éleves de francais à l'université: attention y'en a ca vaut le détour : moin au lieu de mois (normal, ca va encore), "pas que" au lieu de parce que, et le mieux : jouir avec des attractions au lieu de jouir des attractions !!! attention attention .....


Le lundi, jour de retour vers Madrid: premierement quelle chance, l'avion n'a pas de retard et on est même arrivé avec 20min d'avance ... oui 20min incroyable, le pilote devait etre vraiment pressé ! et là bonne surprise : Montse était là pour venir me chercher ! Malgré sa journée de travail et qu'elle se soit levé a 6h du mat', elle était la ! donc on decide d'aller manger un truc et discuter - pia pia pia dans ton corps, t's un secret girls ect ... - ensuite on a eu (moi personelment) la flemme d'aller travailler, donc on se dit: on va au ciné ? allez pourquoi pas !? donc on final on choisit un film au hasard: XXY.

XXY est un film argentin, tourné en uruguay, qui parle des personnes hermaphrodites. Oui, on ne pensait pas que le film allait etre cela, mais bon. La réalisatrice Lucía Puenzo choisit le thème de l’hermaphrodisme, la recherche de l’identité sexuelle, mais aussi et surtout de soi-même. Se présentant comme une réflexion sur la différence et le regard des autres, XXY ne cesse de jouer sur les parallèles et les oppositions qui existent entre le devenir de ces deux familles. Elle, Alex, jeune hermaphrodite et lui, Alvaro qui doute en raison de son homosexualité. Chacun d’eux cherche à couper les ponts avec l’enfance et à choisir ce qu’il doit devenir. Cette quête, ils l’effectuent ensemble se complétant dans leurs différences et cherchant l’un dans l’autre à repousser ce choix inéluctable. Les couleurs froides omniprésentes accentuant ce contraste entre amour et oppression du milieu, ces adultes qui semblent étrangers au ressentiment de leurs enfants... tout tend à rendre le sujet intemporel voire universel. Car en effet, au-delà de l’hermaphrodisme, XXY est le film de la recherche de ses sentiments et de son identité au moment de l’adolescence.
Ce film est assez dur a voir j'avoue. En sortant j'avais les trippes un peu dans tous les sens ! Mais c'est un film qui aborde bien les differents aspect de la recherche d'identité. Et le style argentin y est tout a fait apreciable. Bon, ssi vous etes sensible comme Montse enmenez des mouchoirs !
ok, c'est pas la comédie de l'année, mais c'est un bon film de reflexion et d'actualité.

OK, I would like to talk about one actress of Hollywood, well a very young actress. I was watching TV and I see this series: South of Nowhere. Yep, it’s a series about adolescent of USA ect. Typical, but I stopped and fixed on one person: the role of Asley performed by Mandy Musgrave.

Mandy Musgrave is known for her stunning role on The N’s provocative and controversial teen drama South of Nowhere. The show deals with issues related to homosexuality, racism, drugs, teen drinking, erectile dysfunction, and pretty much anything else that teens deal with today. But who is she ?
Amanda Marie Musgrave, alias Mandy Musgrave or Mandy Moo was born the September 19 of 1986 (YEP she is very young!). She started acting when she was 6 years old. But she wasn’t serious about acting until she hit high school, where she performed in memorable roles of Anything Goes and The Miracle Worker. Mandy Musgrave’s grandmother is famed actress Rita Ray, and following in Nana’s footsteps, Mandy moved from Orlando to Hollywood upon completing school in 2004. Mandy started garnering the attention from casting directors and talent agencies soon after her arrival in Tinsel Town. Within a year, Mandy was appearing in notable television shows such as, CSI starring Marg Helgenberger, and Malcolm in the Middle.However, Mandy’s big break came when she landed the role of Chelsea Benson on the daytime soap, Days of Our Lives. Mandy appeared on the show from 2004 to 2005. Mandy also appeared on Leah Remini's The King of Queens in 2005. Later that year, she debuted on South of Nowhere and became an icon among teenagers across America. Mandy is a talented actress with nothing but an upbeat and an enchanting personality. Her glamorous look and Hollywood presence are a rarity for someone so young in show business. She has mastered the art of looking like a cute, girl-next-door type one minute and a sexy seductress the next.

So, j’adoreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, mais j’attend de voir ce qu’elle peut donner dans d’autres rôles et avec un peu plus de bouteille … mais j’adore quand même !

Para finir el dia de ayer, vi que por fin han liberado dos (si, solo dos) secuestrados de los FARC en Colombia. Ojala, sera muy pronto la liberacion de Ingrid y de tambien muchos mas.

L'Ours et l'Arbousier

Bon aujourd’hui je vais répondre à une question qui revient à chaque fois que j fait une visite touristique de Madrid ! ----- L’OURS ET L’ARBRE de la plaza Sol !

Le symbole de Madrid est un Ours et un arbousier. Enfin un ours ou une ourse ... le sexe n’ai pas déterminé. Il faudrait peut être regarder la statue de plus prés !
Mais pourquoi ce symbole ? D’où vient-il ? Donc ce symbole vient du Moyen Age. Il semblerait qu’à cette époque les champs de Madrid étaient remplis d’ours et de part cela ce serait devenu un emblème de la ville. Il se dit même qu’à un moment la région avait pour nom : « l’ourserie ». Selon de livre de Monteria del Rey Alfonso XI, il se disait de Madrid que c’était un bon endroit pour les ours et porcs.
Les chroniques parlent que en 1211, le roi Alfonse VIII de Castille envoya son armée combattre avec un emblème dessiné d’un ours. Pendant de nombreuses années, le blason de Madrid fut un ours (ou une ours) peint sur du bleu avec 7 étoiles sur le dos, en train de paître sur un champ vert. Les étoiles sur le dos de l’animal font référence à la grande et petite Ours.
Ensuite, en 1222, après une longue concertation, les hauts penseurs de la ville décidèrent d’incorporer au blason un peu de nature. Il est vrai que Madrid à l’époque (et encore maintenant) était un lieu de chasse et de nature, caractérisé par de nombreux champs et forêts. Donc ils décidèrent de mettre un ours et un arbre. Mais on ne connait pas avec certitude quand et pourquoi l’arbre devint un arbousier. Peut être car il se trouvait à l’époque plus que présent dans la région.
Allez je vais aller me promener dans les montagnes de Madrid … et j’espère tomber nez à nez avec des lézards et non des ours !!!

Rien de tel qu'un lundi pour reprendre le boulot apres quasiment 2 semaines de vacances ! donc me voila gaiment partie pour aller travailler ce lundi. Je suis d'abord surprise que sur la route il n'y a personne, moi et ma voiture. J'entre dans Madrid et le museum, et la pas de voiture !? Mais qu'est ce qui se passe ?!! Les visites du museum fermées, personne au travail, oui donc c'est FERIE non ? ehhhhhhh oui ma lucette ! Car comme l'épiphanie est tombée un dimanche, les espagnols ont donc décidé de prendre le lundi comme férié ! Pas con les espingouins ! un jour de plus pour digérer la galette ! sacrée reprise vah !

Eh oui je vais vous parler de la Galette des rois car je suppose que vous etes en train de vous en mettre plein le ventre en ce moment. Son origine est un peu confuse, certains parlent d'origine roamine d'autres que c'est une invention de pasteurs espagnols pour honorer une demande du Roi Phillipe V de France. Bref, j'avoue qu'ici en Espagne et surtout a Madrid, la galette des Rois n'a rien à voir avec celle que l'on a en France que ce soit la frangipane ou la briochée. Ici tu as vraiment besoin d'un verre de chocolat ou autre pour la faire passer car c'est sec ma lucette ! Mais bon les madrilins ont trouvé une astuce pour eviter que ce soit si sec: mettre de la crème dedans !! eh oui pas bete !

Allez un peu d'histoire :

El roscón de Reyes, rosca de Reyes o rosco de Reyes es un pan dulce festivo de forma anular, adornado con rodajas de fruta cristalizada (escarchada) o confitada de colores variados, que se come en España y otros países hispanos —principalmente México— que se suele tomar el día 6 de enero, el día de Reyes, acompañado de una taza de chocolate.
El origen del roscón no tiene nada que ver con la llegada de los Reyes Magos a Belén para adorar al niño, sino que parece estar relacionado con las saturnales romanas, éstas que no eran más que fiestas dedicadas al dios Saturno con el objeto de que el pueblo romano en general pudieran celebrar los días más largos que empezaban a venir tras el solsticio de invierno. Para estos festejos se elaboraban unas tortas redondas hechas con higos, dátiles y miel, que se repartía por igual entre los plebeyos y esclavos.
Ya en el siglo III, en el interior del dulce se introducía una haba seca y el afortunado al que le tocaba era nombrado rey de reyes durante un corto periodo de tiempo establecido de antemano. En la actualidad, y especialmente en México, a quien le toca el muñeco en su rebanada es comprometido a ofrecer una cena o comida con tamales el dia 2 de Febrero "Dia de la Virgen de la Candelaria".
Desde los romanos existían juegos del haba en España; quién encontraba el haba tenía que pagar el convite a los demás. Se dice que Felipe V importó de Francia a España la tradición de tomar un dulce con sorpresa el día de Reyes Magos pero no parece que sea cierto puesto que, por un lado, en Francia se toma la "Galette des rois" ("Galleta o pan de los Reyes Magos") con otra receta, forma e ingredientes muy distintos, para culminar las fiestas navideñas, y por otro, la tradición del roscón llegó a las Indias occidentales mucho antes del reinado de Felipe V.
El pastel que se hace en nuestros países tiene forma de rosca, más o menos imitando una corona real, cubierto de frutas escarchadas, que semejan las joyas de la corona, y tenía escondida en su interior una pequeña sorpresa, a veces de gran lujo y valor; la tradición dice que quién la encontraba tenía que pagar el roscón (lo que se mantiene de forma parecida en México, como se dice más arriba); puede que por influjo francés haya cambiado el sentido y ahora se le hace rey de la fiesta o, en otros casos, se dice que el que encuentra la sorpresa tendrá suerte el año siguiente.
Curiosamente esta torta es conocida en la cocina lusa como "Bolo de Rei" y aunque no es igual en ingredientes la costumbre sí.
La receta del roscón es antigua en el mediterráneo y también se encuentran dulces semejantes en la Provenza francesa, antes catalano-aragonesa, muy distintos de la Galette del norte de Francia.En México la tradición fue importada en el siglo XVI desde España, y es costumbre en muchos sitios del país merendar la Rosca de Reyes con chocolate, además de adornarlo con miel y frutos del desierto, como dátiles o higos.

Rebajas ... hasta en el plato !

hoy estaba escuchando las noticias y me entere que algunos restaurantes de Madrid, para seguir la moda o ola de rebajas, ofrecen rebajas tambien en la carta!
es original, claro no van a rebajar los menus del dia ! ... que pena !
entonces iremos comer dos veces mas con estas rebajas !

Portugal ... Ca gaz ?

Me voici revenue de vacances ! enfin diront certains, encore diront d'autres ...
Ces vacances à Luz (Portugal) ont été bien sympatiques ma fois. Nous sommes partis à 3 Claire, Benoit et moi même: les plus courageux ou fêlés ... je ne sais pas ?! On a visité pas mal de coins sympa sur la côte sur du Portugal. Allez jeter un oeil sur les photos ! On se trouvait donc dans la région de l'algarve, et notamment a côté d'un parque national. Donc Luz, c'est un petit village pres de Lagos (5min en voiture ou bien par la falaise (lol) un peu plus de temps). C'est une ancienne colonie anglaise, donc c'est blindé de bars, resto ect. anglais, on peut vite oublier nos quelques mots en portugais appris avant de partir. Nous étions dans un appart au 2eme étage avec une énorme terrasse (ou ben y était a chaque rayon de soleil) et vue sur la mer. Notre locatrice vivait en dessous, gentille mais bavarde ! et tres tres tres tres bisoussssss ... mes joues s'en rapellent ... mouaaaaakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk (ok, j'adore les bisous!).
Certains moments resteront mémorables comme la balade improvisée dans la nature avec des côtes dont mes poumons s'en souviennent encore (Merci Ben !), ainsi que mes chaussures !, des villages perdus au milieu de rien ! des villes pas prévues au programme mais qui furent de bonnes surprises. Et les fameuses parties de Poker chaque soir ! (Merci Claire !). Ou encore le bain de benoit un 31 décembre, ou bien notre bonne année 2008 à 19h30 !
Et quelques devises resteront aussi : "allez on va ou ? bah tout droit, c'est plus court ?! mais y'a pas de chemin là ! Pas grave c'est mieux que la route !" - "Tiens un chinois, on va voir ?!" & nos fameux "ca gaz ?!".
Et je voudrais faire un remerciement tout spécial a tous les magasins chinois de la région et d'ailleur: OBRIGADOOOOOO, car sans ce séjour n'aurait pas été le même, pas de chaussures pour Benoit et Claire ainsi que pas de ventouse et nos ballades n'auraient pas été si riches sans votre présence !

bref, j'ai vraiment déconnecté pendant une semaine, ca fait du bien, juste que la reprise est plus dure ! alors je n'ai qu'à dire: a la prochaine pour de nouvelles aventures, mais je ne sais encore ou !?

ah si, me olvidaba, a la vuelta hemos pasado por una ciudad que hacia mucho tiempo que tenia que ir: BADAJOOOOOO, badajoz por los non iniciados. Asi que hemos hecho una visita muy rapida a Montse y hemos tenido una guia tousitica espectacular (gracias Mon & Blanca) ! ya sabemos los sitios mas importantes de la ciudad ... !
otro dia hare un especial sobre badajoz cuando regresare mas tiempo !

eh oui cela fait pas mal de temps je réfléchi a faire un blog ... eh non je n'ai pas encore trouver la réponse ... mais c'est pas désespéré !
